We came here in on Thursday night, seated right away! Our hostess and server were very nice! They get 5 stars. Started with a latte...very good! The salad was too bitter, something was off, I couldn't eat it, and stuck with the table bread. Our appetizer, the stuffed fried pacherri was good. If nothing else the pasta here is some of the best in the CRSA! I had the lasagna and my husband had the steak. My only complaint was the bolognese had no salt. I thought it was me, had my husband try it, he agreed. Having this dish many times over, it was probably an oversight this time. Still, the best, lightest and thinnest lasagna noodles in the CRSA, and this is coming from someone who went to a predominantly catholic Italian school in the heart of Brooklyn NY whose cafeteria was staffed by Italian grannies! Of course we will be back

we love finding local restaurants, especially Italian when we travel. The food here was excellent both when we had it served and later as a leftover. The service too was very good. The ambiance is a bit strange... my husband said it felt more like a bar than a restaurant, but it was fine. We would definitey go here again when passing through town. I had the funghi dish that was out of this world and filled with wild mushrooms. my hubby had the 10 layer lasagna--couldnt tell the layers but it sure tasted good.

Great ambience. We went on a Saturday night. Our server Cassandra was lovely and very attentive. The food was delicious and worth the wait for the main entree, but next time I'd like you to go during the week. I'll definitely go back.

Trattoria Polipo will now be in the rotation for date nights! Service was outstanding throughout our entire meal. Nicole made sure we didn't want for anything and was excellent at recommending dishes to try for our first visit. We ordered the grilled octopus for our appetizer and it was cooked perfectly. However, I didn't really understand the dish. It was served in a pomodoro sauce with potatoes, olives, mushrooms and sausage which seemed a bit strange. The Chicken Milanese was divine! Perfect amount of crunch on the chicken served with a lemon and caper sauced pasta. My fiancé ordered their chicken Parmesan which is probably the best we've had in Augusta thus far. My only complaint is some of the staff were in T-shirts and other customers were dressed extremely casual (Jean shorts and crop tops) For the price of the food and the ambiance of the restaurant I would expect a nicer dress code to be enforced. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and can't wait to return.

It's kind of hidden at the back of a shopping center, but this is a large restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. It wasn't busy at the early dinnertime I arrived, but did pick up even though I was there on a Monday, so reservations might be wise for peak times. They had a happy hour special on arancini, and ordering these was a good decision. Delightfully crisp, they came with peas and mushrooms on top and an abundance of sauce and cheese. A side salad with arugula and fennel added needed flavor contrast and some fiber, while my traditional spaghetti dish was covered with thinly layered cheese and was even tastier with some crushed red pepper requested on the side. I imagine the desserts are nice, but I had no room, particular after two helpings of complimentary bread and olive oil. This is not the kind of place that has much for people who are avoiding wheat or dairy, and the vegetarian options are carb heavy, but given these relatively typical limitations the quality of food and the service were what I'd hoped for my celebratory dinner.

I came here with some friends for dinner and I loved the food they have here. They have a fairly extensive menu but everything tasted amazing. I apologize I don't remember the exact names, but I'll do my best to describe it. Their salad, that they give before the appetizers come out, was fresh and pretty delicious. In addition to the leafy veggies, it has chickpeas, onions, tomatoes, and a slice of mozzarella cheese. For appetizers, we got the fried cauliflower. It's the second time I got this and it's delicious both times. It's not too greasy and pairs really well with the tomato sauce under. I got the carbonara pasta and the pasta was cooked very well and the sauce was good as well. My only complaint is that it was a tad on the saltier side. For dessert, I got the tiramisu and it's one of the best tiramisu I've had in Augusta! The coffee is super smooth and there was a good ratio of all the layers.
